This is an extremely high grade material, is virtually impervious to oil (it is made to sit and soak 24/7 in oil) and has exceptionally low compression.

Installation Instructions - clean surfaces with NO sealant - Stock Torque 5 Ft Lbs. (60 Inch lbs.) or 6.8 NM

Material is made by KLINGERSIL. Material spec. is C-4401 and is a universal gasket material for use in a wide range of applications. The general purpose gasket material has excellent sealability and chemical resistance. This material is manufactured with aramid fiber reinforced with a nitrile binder.
